Prof. Dr. YP Singh, a name that resonates in the medical field as the pioneer in oncoplastic breast-conserving surgery in Nepal. Born and raised in Sarlahi, Nepal, Dr. Singh has dedicated his life to being a surgeon and cancer educationist.
His journey towards becoming a medical professional started with his education at Kansai Medical University in Osaka, Japan where he obtained his degree in 1998. Prior to that, he had honed his skills at Tribhuvan University’s Institute of Medicine in Kathmandu, Nepal and graduated with distinction in 1988.
As the Professor of Surgical Oncology and sub-specializing in breast and gastrointestinal cancer surgery, he has become renowned for his expertise and innovation. Through his extensive research and dedication to the field of surgical oncology, he strives to provide the best possible care for his patients.
